Teaching Assistant / TA / HLTA / High level teaching assistant / SEN teaching assistant

Primary school is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children within the classroom environment, providing both group and one-to-one assistance to help them reach their full potential.
Teaching assistant TA Responsibilities :
- Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and engaging students in learning activities.
- Provide one-to-one support to students who require additional assistance with their academic work.
- Assist with the planning and preparation of classroom resources and activities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
- Help to manage classroom behavior and encourage positive social interactions among students.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) by implementing individual education plans (IEPs) and providing tailored support.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as record-keeping and maintaining student progress reports.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with parents / carers, providing updates on student performance and addressing any concerns.
Teaching assistant TA Requirements :
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions from classroom teachers.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare would be advantageous but not essential.
