Job Description
The Manager Market Strategy is an exciting opportunity to join Rockwell's Investor Relations & Market Strategy organization.
This is an important and challenging role that supports our senior leadership team in aligning our main investment priorities with investors' areas of focus and updating investor messaging to showcase ROK's sustainable competitive differentiation.
This requires a profound understanding of our value proposition to customers, organizational difference, and strategy.
You will report to the VP, Investor Relations and Market Strategy and will work a hybrid schedule based at our headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.
Your Responsibilities :
- Directly work with broad set of partners including Executive Leadership, Corporate Strategy & Development, Business Segments and Sales & Marketing to serve as the subject matter expert on competitive intelligence.
- Establish like-for-like comparisons between Rockwell and competitors in multiple areas, including financial performance, product competitiveness, commercial excellence to provide a true picture of Rockwell's competitive positioning as it relates to investor focus areas
- Provide critical market and business intelligence inputs and recommendations to help improve our development goals
- Monitor evolving investor interests to develop internal agreement on important investment priorities with a goal of increasing Rockwell's investor ownership relative to peers
- Lead competitive intelligence planning for main investor meetings; guide IR and Executive team preparedness, develop primary intelligence questions and areas of focus, align onsite activities, and consolidate important insights and communicate post-meetings
- Help update investor messaging to highlight areas of sustainable competitive differentiation
The Essentials - You Will Have :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

- The ability to travel 30% of the time.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have :
- Typically requires a minimum of 6 years related experience, including 3 years of work experience in industrial automation
- Basic financial analysis experience
- Understanding of the industrial automation market
- Experience working with, informing, and presenting to C-level executives
- Taking complex information and insights and developing "ready to use" formats and presentations.
- Global perspective with work reflecting and incorporating all regions.
- Collaboration across multiple departments
- Experience with financial performance and business structures

For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $146,160 - $219,240 with an annual target bonus of 8% of base salary.
