The Osborne Company is seeking a skilled Superintendent who will oversee all phases of onsite construction and manage daily activities.

Salary Range : $75,000-100,000

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES :

The Superintendent will serve the Topeka (Manhattan, Lawrence, Kansas City) and surrounding area and must have extensive knowledge in ground-up construction, tenant finish, and commercial remodel.

  • Manage multiple sites simultaneously, meeting scheduling goals and maintaining a high quality of standard including a clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites.
  • Create an exceptional client experience, monitoring all Osborne Company employees and subcontractors for appropriate and professional communication and behavior.
  • Ensure projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, drawings, and applicable building codes.
  • Prepare cost estimates, Purchase Orders and Change Orders for the Project Managers.
  • Attend and provide input at Project Meetings and proactively identify solutions to support ongoing projects.

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in a construction role managing projects from execution to completion.
  • College degree or trade school a plus but is not required.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction methodologies, materials, and processes.
  • Experience with construction management software tools and current technology (ProCore)
  • Experience with energy efficient building technology, techniques, and their applications
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed (limited travel required for this role)
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States
  • Pre-employment drug testing and background check required
