What Will You Be Doing?

The Sr. Director, Digital & Omnichannel Product oversees the staff, activities, and resources of Frontier’s digital & omnichannel product teams, including responsibility for defining the strategy and roadmap for digital products, leading design / UI-UX and driving continued merchandising optimization across the FlyFrontier.

com website, Frontier mobile app, and other channels. The role will lead these teams in defining and refining a best-in-class omnichannel technology platform supporting the achievement of company revenue, efficiency, and customer experience goals.

By leveraging innovative analytics, merchandising, and offer design across distribution channels, this role will continually improve customer experience, drive operational efficiencies, and improve revenue performance.

This role reports into the VP, Pricing & Revenue Management.

Essential Functions

  • Build and own the vision, strategy, and execution of the digital product roadmap across all relevant commercial platforms and channels, including mobile, web, airport, middleware, internal tools, and third-party integrations
  • Deliver industry-leading self-service capabilities across platforms and products to support unbundled revenue generation and efficient passenger handling
  • Lead digital product strategy, optimization, user experience, eCommerce operations and product ownership
  • Lead the digital user experience and user interface team, defining an effective UI-UX design process and delivery framework to support the overall digital product roadmap
  • Lead continuous improvement processes for digital / e-commerce platforms, including ongoing testing and feature validation, A / B testing / continued experimentation upon potential platform enhancements, and overall configuration and optimization
  • Demonstrate, and develop in staff, expert-level competence in key areas supporting a best-in-class digital experience, including but not limited to Business Analysts, Product Owners, and UX Designers
  • Develop analytics strategies and KPIs to measure and monitor the success of the website, mobile app and all other digital touchpoints
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of the digital product roadmap and associated financial results.

Other Functions

  • Provide strong and inspired leadership and direction to a nimble, creative, and high-performing team
  • Develop and maintain productive cross-functional relationships with Commercial Technology Solutions, PMO, Marketing & Loyalty, Pricing, Revenue Management, Ancillary & Revenue Analytics, Network Planning / Scheduling, Operations, Finance, and other key stakeholders
  • Set the standard for the broader team in thought processes and analytical outputs :

o Achieve expert status in business and industry trends

o Distill a broad range of quantitative and qualitative inputs into meaningful strategies and actions

o Clearly communicate the actionable business implications of complex quantitative analyses to senior management

  • Assist in developing team members to deepen the team’s collective skillset and improve overall performance
  • Lead change across the organization by improving directly owned processes & taking initiative to champion cross-functional opportunities
  • Manage evaluation of team members, including skill sets, skill development and regular reviews in line with department policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu
  • Minimum 10 years of overall experience in digital product, e-commerce / omnichannel optimization, airline commercial (including network, pricing & revenue management, marketing, or sales / distribution), and / or high-growth revenue-driving functions preferred
  • 5+ years of prior supervisory or demonstrated experience in leadership

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills; demonstrated understanding of digital product management best practices and airline commercial metrics and economics
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to independently prioritize analyses for self and teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to structure logical analytical approaches and to apply a range of quantitative techniques to solve business problems in an efficient, timely manner
  • Strong work ethic; delivers results in ambiguous, time-pressured situations
  • Sound judgment and ability to maintain composure under pressure
