Position Summary :
The Physical Security Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the physical security programs and policies to ensure the safety and security of the company's facilities, employees, and visitors.
This role involves working with SVP Shared Services & Finance Administration to develop physical Security Strategy for global properties.
This role will oversee security operations, coordinating with external security services, conducting risk assessments, and responding to security incidents.
Primary Responsibilities
The individual in this position will be responsible for the following :
Security Program Management :
- Develop and implement comprehensive physical security strategies and protocols.
- Establish and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local and industry regulations.
Operations Oversight :
- Supervise security personnel, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Identify and coordinate with third-party security service providers to ensure optimal security coverage and performance.
- Monitor and manage security systems, including access control, surveillance cameras, and alarm systems.
- Develop physical security champion and liason program
Incident Response :
- Lead the response to security incidents, including investigations, reporting, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with building management, law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Develop and conduct emergency response and crisis management drills and training.
Compliance and Reporting :
- Ensure compliance with local, state, federal and industry regulations regarding physical security.
- Maintain detailed records of security incidents, audits, and maintenance of security systems.
- Prepare and present regular security reports to senior management.
Facility Security :
- Oversee the security of all company facilities, including offices, warehouses, and other properties.
- Manage access control systems and enforce access policies.
- Ensure the physical security infrastructure is maintained and updated as necessary.
- Enhance program to secure and monitor point of entry and exits for locations.
Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Work closely with other departments (, IT, HR, CISO, Finance, Legal, Facilities) to ensure a cohesive security strategy.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, including security vendors, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide security guidance and support for company events and activities.

Qualifications / Education :
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field; relevant professional certifications (, CPP, PSP) preferred.
- Minimum of years of experience in physical security management, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Experience working in or with law enforcement a plus
- Strong knowledge of security systems, technologies, and best practices.
- Proven experience in managing security teams and coordinating with external security providers.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
- Proficiency in security-related software and systems.
Working Conditions :
This position will require occasional travel between company sites. Must be available to respond to security incidents outside of regular working hours as needed.
