Job Summary :
The Associate Marketing Consultant is responsible for prospecting, researching, qualifying and / or making initial customer contact through various interaction channels such as web, social media, phone and digital tools.
This role guides prospects through the sales funnel by providing them with information or answers to inquiries and questions in coordination with marketing channels, programs, and sales campaigns with the primary goal being to communicate and convert contacts to prospects to qualified leads.
The Associate Marketing Consultant is also accountable for building and monitoring a prospect / lead pipeline to ensure continuous population of immediate and long-term opportunities.
The Associate Marketing Consultant is responsible for developing product or service knowledge to support customer questions and promote offerings while utilizing sales techniques and product knowledge to meet or exceed established goals.
Responsibilities
- Strengthen our relationship with clients and company partnerships
- Assist with scheduling internal and external meetings as requested by leadership and sales teams.
- Participate in the development of internal presentations, sales presentations, proposals, bids, quotations, RFP responses, or other documents describing organizational products and services in response to requests from prospective clients
- Arrange travel and accommodations for leadership and sales team in support of internal meetings, conferences, and client visits.
- Plan and execute campaigns and events. Track, analyze and report the success of those campaigns and events
- Empower the sales team with marketing content and campaigns that help drive sales
- Coordinates all corporate social media efforts for Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook
- Document market development activity in Salesforce and participate in reporting progress as needed
- Directs case study efforts, taking direction from department managers to get subjects written, edited, and published
Required Skills / Abilities :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations.

- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Familiarity with social media tools
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
