Bilingual Accounting Specialist

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist with expertise in financial analysis, collections, month-end close, and reconciliations .

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and capable of managing both domestic and international financial activities.

This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Financial Analysis :
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support decision-making and improve overall financial performance.
• Generate financial reports and provide insights on trends, variances, and financial forecasts.
• Collections :
• Manage accounts receivable and collections processes to ensure timely payments.
• Liaise with clients to resolve outstanding balances and payment discrepancies, ensuring accurate records.
• Month-End Close :
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments to ensure completeness of financial data.
• Reconciliations :
• Reconcile various accounts (bank, credit card, general ledger) to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Bilingual Communication :
• Effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking clients, vendors, and team members regarding financial matters.
• Translate financial documents and communication when necessary.
