Volt is immediately hiring for Assembler I in Long Beach, CA.

As an Assembler I you will :

• Experience using power tools, like wire strippers and drills.
• Knowledge of crimpers, and soldering experience.
• Assemble and package complete products from scratch.
• You will receive and maintain certified trained status for update revision in all relevant accessory lines.
• Must maintain a clean and safe workstation environment & wear safety gear as required.
• Perform additional duties that support production goals.

This is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 6 am - 2 : 30 pm open to overtime.

The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills :

• 1 year of related experience in the manufacturing environment or High School or equivalent.
• Mechanical ability preferred, with basic dexterity and physical competence (Occasionally lift 35-50 lb with assistance)
• Must be able to read, understand and follow work instructions (MOPs) and basic diagrams in English as well as verbal instructions to complete assignments in a timely manner
• Must have a strong work ethic, be able to take directions, and willing to ask questions when clarity is needed. Ability to plan, track & complete assignments in a timely manner.

Pay Rate : $19.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
