The Financial Analyst will be responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and report to the Senior FP&A Analyst on the following :
- Report our results
- Update and analyze topline KPIs for weekly management meeting
- Support preparation of monthly report and quarterly board package for investors
- Prepare stories that explain our results to different departments to help them understand our business better
- Forecast our future
- Dive deep into product lines, customer groups and business lines to understand better performance and predict results
- Support preparation of business cases for new business lines and acquisitions
- Create value
- Find sources of increased profit through proposed price changes and cost reductions
- Define or adjust KPIs required to drive the company to better results
- Benchmark our results against competitors to identify areas for improvement
- Leverage data and systems to propose changes to internal operations
Skills and Qualifications :
- 2-3 years work experience, likely including roles in financial planning and analysis, management accounting, or consulting, in demanding and dynamic environments
- Fluent in spreadsheets (Excel and GSheets), financial analysis, financial modeling and familiarity with Google Slides and Docs
- Able to ETL from support systems such as Quickbooks, Salesforce and other platforms to build the foundation for data mining, financial modeling and analysis
- Strong intellectual capacity and desire for continuous learning, growth and improvement
- Understands how to prioritize work strategically to improve speed of outcomes
- Bonus for experience with SaaS / recurring revenue / subscription-based businesses
