Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent Evansville is looking for a PRN Electrophysiology Physician for our Heart Care Team.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights :

• PRN coverage needed
• Clinic, cath lab and hospital are all located adjacent to one another
• Level 2 trauma, 375 bed hospital
• Join two physicians and four ACNP within our multi - specialty heart care team which also includes BC Interventional, Structural, General, Pediatric and Cardiac-Thoracic Surgery physicia

Responsibilities :

• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
• Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.
• Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration :

• Physician MD / DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Education :

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
