New Mexico Highlands University invites applications and nominations for the position of Director of Institutional Research and Data Management.
The DIRDM is a full-time (12 month) administrative position reporting to the Provost / VPAA and will be a member of the Expanded Leadership Team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collect, maintain and submit information pertinent to all current and future state, federal and other compliance agencies’ reporting requirements Design and implement a system to report enrollment data in real-time Provide leadership and administration of the institution’s work with the Higher Learning Commission accreditation process to include serving as the HLC liaison and writing the HLC self-study and assurance review materials;
see www.nmhu.edu / accreditation-information Support departments with external accreditations including ACBSP, NCATE, CACREP, CCNE and others Working closely with faculty, lead and manage efforts to design learning outcomes in all disciplines.
Collect, analyze and report the results of the work on the established outcomes Serve as ex-officio of the Senate Outcomes Assessment Committee Work with other offices such as Human Resources and Strategic Enrollment Management to establish data sets Develop dashboards that users, including faculty, will be able to tailor to their individual needs, facilitating quicker, more informed decisions and empowering the campus community to engage with data in a more meaningful and effective manner Complete other data requests and reports as appropriate to improve institutional outcomes
Remote work from within New Mexico possible but would require some travel to Las Vegas, NM
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
A master’s degree from an accredited institution
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
A graduate degree in a discipline employing quantitative knowledge and skills A terminal degree from an accredited institution Experience managing and leading others in pursuit of a common goal Experience with designing data collection schemes, collecting and maintaining data and devising data displays Experience with outcomes assessment Verified experience and / or dispositions leading to a collegial and service-oriented approach to work
