We are seeking bilingual Quality Engineering Interns to join our team at Hanwha Advanced Materials. This is a paid internship where you can work alongside quality engineers to support launch activities and advanced product quality planning activities including PPAP preparation, PFMEAs, Process Flows, and Control Plans.
The ultimate goal is to prepare students for full time employment with Hanwha Advanced Materials as a Quality Engineer.

This will eventually ensure superior quality of products and services. Total Quality management is a joint effort of management and associates in order to exceed customer satisfaction levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist team creating, and aiding in the investigation of Corrective Action Reports (8D’s).
- Observe and analyze current methods, processes and make recommendations to bring about improved process / product quality, work simplification and cost reduction
- Participate in cross-functional teams in the pursuit of problem-solving and mistake-proofing quality problems.
- Follow all internal and OSHA-required safety procedures
- Assist in protecting our customers to ensure each product meets established quality standards of zero-conformances.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
- Winter semester internship : December 2024- February 2025(flexible dates) with potential for additional semesters and goal of full time employment
- Paid full-time position during the span of the internship
- Monday-Friday, core work hours 1st shift
Required Qualifications
- Able to commute to the Georgetown, TX office location
- Completion of Junior year in college
- Graduated or currently enrolled in relevant majors such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, etc.
- Authorized to work in United States
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and deliver quality work within defined timelines.
- Bilingual in Korean / English a plus
