This position will be located in Casper, WY at our JW Williams facility (a company of Westerman, Inc).

SUMMARY

Westerman, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician with a proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility.

This position is responsible for preventative maintenance of all mechanical and electrical equipment. A successful candidate is a self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all safety and quality levels are met.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Regular and punctual attendance at work is an essential job function of each position and is necessary to your individual effectiveness and that of your work group.

Regular and punctual attendance is required of all employees.

• Complete mechanical and electrical repairs and makes adjustments as needed.
• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
• Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe work areas
• Other duties as required and assigned.

REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as an electrician, mechanic, maintenance technician, or related craft required
• Basic math skills required
• Demonstrated proficiency in both oral and written communication required
• Must have and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable MVR as determined by the insurance carrier and the Company’s Vehicle Use Policy

DESIRED EXPERIENCE :

• Advanced knowledge of electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and plumbing
• Welding and cutting skills preferred
• Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints
• Good problem-solving skills, safety practices, and attention to quality
• Have workbench and computer skills
• Meter usage and ability to complete measurements
• May require CPR and first aid training
• Lockout / tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined spaced training

Open Positions : Tech 1 Salary range $18-$23

Tech 2 Salary Range $23-$28

Tech 3 Salary Range $28-$33

Tech 4 Salary Range $33-$38
