Responsibilities
- Lead and Supervise : Manage a talented team of facilities project managers, overseeing projects related to construction, maintenance, site openings / closures, space reconfiguration, and more.
- Real Estate Management : Handle lease negotiations, property acquisitions, lease administration, and maintain positive landlord and tenant relationships.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement the facilities capital plan in collaboration with our team.
- Risk Management : Partner with the Risk Management team to ensure compliance with facilities-related insurance, vendor, landlord, and tenant requirements.
- Facility Assessments : Oversee routine facilities assessments, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the physical condition and capital needs of our properties.
- Equipment Management : Supervise clinical equipment inventories, ensuring proactive replacement and annual assessments.
- Compliance : Ensure adherence to facilities code requirements and infection prevention protocols.
- Hands-On Projects : Directly manage a variety of facilities projects, including safety, compliance, construction management, and the implementation of new standards and systems.
What We’re Looking For :
- Experience : Minimum of 4 years in managing real estate and facility project teams, with established connections and significant experience in the Seattle real estate and construction markets.
- Healthcare Experience : Prior experience in healthcare facilities management is strongly preferred.
- Skills :
- Knowledge : Familiarity with facility codes and infection prevention requirements is essential.
- Mobility : Reliable personal vehicle for local travel between sites (mileage and parking fees reimbursed).
- Health & Safety : COVID vaccination required.
- Culture Fit : Ability to thrive in a small, collaborative team that values respect, teamwork, and adaptability. Must be a calming influence, open to change, and able to work on the fly.
Hours & Schedule :
- Office Location : Based in Georgetown, Seattle.
- Work Hours : Flexible schedule between 6 AM 8 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime : Minimal expected; occasional after-hours and weekend work required.
- Remote Work : Hybrid remote / in-office option available after a 4-month learning period, contingent on productivity. Must reside in the Seattle area.
