Job Summary

Viya, the largest telecommunications provider in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced B2B Sales Director to join our dynamic team.

As the B2B Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales and operational effectiveness, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our B2B sales team and ensuring customer satisfaction in the territory.

Qualifications or Prerequisites

  • Identify and develop a high-performing B2B team by enhancing recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management processes.
  • Drive the Executive Team Sponsorship program and cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers, strategic partners, and vendors.
  • Develop and execute segment-specific go-to-market strategies, including campaigns, promotional offers, and bundles, to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
  • Lead the development of the marketing plan / calendar and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of marketing campaigns and product launches.
  • Develop pricing strategies for new and existing products and services, analyzing customer demand, competitive pricing, and market trends to maximize revenue and margin.
  • Collaborate with local and central product development teams to ensure products and services meet customer needs, conducting market sizing and developing product positioning and messaging.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and NPS (Network Promoter Score) to establish Viya as the #1 customer-centric sales organization in the territory.
  • Oversee the continuous development of core selling skills, product knowledge, and behaviors through various training formats.
  • Drive standardization and adoption of sales processes, ensuring efficient use of the CRM system.
  • Analyze sales performance, define sales activity KPIs, and allocate quotas accordingly, taking proactive measures to address performance gaps.
  • Lead business planning and forecasting meetings, providing analytics and insights to influence strategy, tactics, and behavior.
  • Design, administer, and refine sales compensation plans and incentives that motivate the B2B team and align with business goals.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Operations, Business Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a high-profile sales role, with at least 5 years in a B2B organization.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SaaS, ICT, or telecommunications industry, with thorough knowledge of the telephone, cable TV, internet, and wireless services marketplace.
  • Preferred minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior supervisory / leadership position.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop internal relationships and gain trust to support sales initiatives and goals.
  • Familiarity with third-party sources of products and services to advise clients on their options.
  • Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
