Job Summary

We areseeking an experienced Contracts Advisor who is experienced in theconstruction industry to join our Project Management team (PMT).

This Company Project Management Teams are responsible andaccountable for the delivery of best in class capital projects. PMTis directly involved in executing and managing assigned projectssafely on schedule within budget and to the highest standards ofintegrity and compliance.

This will involve engineering designprocurement and construction of various sizes ($) types andcomplexity of small medium to multibilliondollar mega projects.

Project Management Team manages and executes projects from multiplesite offices or engineering contractor design offices throughoutthe Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Contracts Advisor primary role isto develop contracts and administrate related functions.

Responsibilities :

• Work both independently and as part of a teamto support all contractrelated tasks.
• Reviewcontractual issues objectively and proactively resolve disputedchange orders to achieve appropriate resolutions.
• Develop and review different types of contracts andagreements for projects.
• Administer thecontracts and ensure that all terms and conditions are implementedby all projects.
• Develop and reviewcontracting strategies and plans for different types ofprojects.
• Conduct market analysis to determinethe best type of contract for the project and providealternatives.
• Implement the This CompanyProcurement Manual for all contracts and monitor itsimplementation.
• Develop and review changeorder packages ensuring compliance with related guidelines andprocedures.
• Develop and review negotiationstrategies for change orders.
• Participate innegotiation meetings for all change orders.
• Ensure the implementation of supplier performanceevaluations by project teams.
• Conduct orparticipate in counseling sessions with lowperforming contractorsand document the required actions.
• Providecontracting consultations to project teams to resolve issues anddisputes.
• Provide feedback to project teamsregarding contract terms and conditions to prevent disputes orcontract breaches.
• Develop and review contractamendments.
• Perform contract closeout actionsupon project completion.
• Prepare and reviewcontracting reports for management.
• Prepareand review different types of agreements and Memorandums ofUnderstanding (MOUs) with external parties and potential JointVentures (JVs).

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Dhahran SaudiArabia.
• Hold a Bachelors degreein Business Engineering or Law / Contracts Management from arecognized and approved program (advanced degreepreferred).
• Possess fifteen (15) years ofspecialized contracting experience in design consultancy JointVentures and construction contracts / agreements related to refiningand the petrochemical industries.
• Exhibitexcellent English verbal and written communicationskills.
• Have a solid understanding of contractadministration principles and best practices.
• Demonstrate a dynamic attitude towards processimprovements.
• Be flexible and willing to workin multinational teams and mobilize to different locationsincluding remote areas as needed.
