Position Overview :
As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll take charge of maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
From routine inspections to intricate engine diagnostics and repairs, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our vehicles.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and other components of commercial vehicles and equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify any issues or potential problems.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Accurately document all maintenance and repair work.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, preferably in the transportation or construction industry.
- Solid knowledge of diesel engines and related systems.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Compensation & Benefits :
- Competitive wages based on experience : $20 - $36 / hr.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Life insurance, 401k matching, Profit Sharing, PTO, and Paid Holidays.
Shift :
Days, shift options are as follow 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM, or 10 : 30 AM - 7 : 00 PM (Monday - Friday). OT available
