Job Title : MRI Technologist - Imaging & Diagnostics Administration
Location : Maple Grove, MN 55369
Duration : 13 Weeks
Shift : 8-hour days, 6 : 30 AM - 2 : 30 PM
Job Overview :
The MRI Technologist will perform imaging procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.
The technologist will work with a variety of patients (neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics) and must apply critical thinking and handle emergent situations.
This role involves interacting with physicians, team members, and families, while utilizing imaging and hospital computer systems effectively.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately conduct MRI exams and procedures using Siemens Magnetom Avanto 1.5 T equipment.
- Follow established protocols to ensure the highest quality imaging.
- Ensure patient positioning and safety during the imaging process.
- Communicate clearly with patients of all age groups (neonate to geriatric) to explain procedures and ensure comfort.
- Recognize and respond to patient emergencies or adverse reactions during imaging.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring it is in safe working order.
- Troubleshoot any technical issues and notify appropriate personnel for repairs.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical imaging documentation.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all patient information according to HIPAA standards.
Requirements : Experience :
Experience :
- Minimum 2+ years of experience.
- Siemens Magnetom Avanto 1.5 T experience.
Certifications :
- ARRT Certification
- BLS (AHA or ARC)
