Under general supervision, perform general, corrective, and preventative maintenance of both equipment and buildings throughout designated PIH Health facilities and all equipment connected with them.

Required Skills
- Able to work alone, organize jobs, teach various skills to others.
- Sufficient expertise in specialty areas, plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, to meet staffing needs of the hospital and minimize the need to utilize outside contractors.
- Knowledge of material and work procedures used in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and the application of painting.
- Basic knowledge of computers and smart phones.
- Dependable, good judgment, and able to work alone.
- Sufficient work expertise to organize jobs, prioritize workload and teach various skills to others.
- Able to drive Box Truck, Forklift, Pallet Jack.
Required Experience
- High School, GED, or Trade School graduate with courses in arithmetic, mechanics, plumbing and electricity
- California Driver’s License
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in general maintenance
- Demonstrate competency in electrical, mechanical, basic HVAC, plumbing, patching, and painting and carpentry areas
- Ability to operate forklifts and large 2 axel trucks
- Computer literate
Preferred :
- Medical office experience
