WEX is seeking an experienced Programmer to lead the implementation and support of our collaboration and conversational AI platforms, to deliver personalized, automated, and digital experiences to our employees.
Our newly formed AI & Productivity team focuses on developing innovative solutions to enhance internal processes and employee performance.
We are looking for a skilled and energetic Enterprisewide Programmer to drive this initiative forward.
How you'll make an impact
- Lead the implementation and support of our collaboration and conversational AI platform : This includes architecting solutions, integrating with existing systems, developing custom features, and ensuring platform stability and scalability.
- Design and implement complex system integrations : Utilize your expertise in various integration technologies and patterns to seamlessly connect AI platforms with other enterprise systems, adhering to best practices for security and performance.
- Develop personalized, automated, and digital experiences : Leverage AI capabilities to create intuitive and efficient employee experiences.
- Drive innovation in internal processes and employee performance : Collaborate with the AI & Productivity team to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvements, develop new solutions, and measure their impact on business outcomes.
- Work with a diverse set of stakeholders : Engage with IT teams, business users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful adoption of AI solutions.
- Maintain a strong customer service orientation : Prioritize user needs, provide timely support, and continuously improve the employee experience through AI-powered tools and services.
- Stay current with emerging technologies : Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to identify new opportunities for innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Experience you'll bring
- BS / BA degree in technical / information science or relevant work experience
- 5+ years of experience with software and solutions engineering
- Ability to design and implement complex system integrations with various integration technologies and patterns, using best practices for security and performance
- Experience in working with different integration architectures
- Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders in IT and the business; strong customer service orientation
- 2+ years of experience with artificial intelligence or machine learning preferred
