Advance Services is now hiring for a Quality Control Lab technician in Grundy Center, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting quality control and quality assurance testing.

Quality Assurance : Actively conduct testing according to, and implementation of, the quality system for all lubricant products.

Ensure that all products meet or exceed the quality standards set by the company and regulatory bodies.

• Laboratory : Ensure the organization, cleanliness, and workflow of the laboratory are adhered to on a daily basis.
• Process Improvement : Collaborate with department managers to help identify areas of improvement in the production process to enhance product quality.
• Compliance : Ensure all operations are compliant with industry regulations and standards. Stay current with any regulatory changes and implement them in the quality control process.
• Product Development : Assist in analytics for the development of new lubricant products from concept to market launch. This includes conducting research, developing formulations, testing prototypes, and conducting competitor analysis.
• Team Player : Be an active participant in the operation of the laboratory and supportive of the laboratory team.
• Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing and Sales, to develop products that meet market needs and drive business growth.

Qualifications :

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Or previous laboratory experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Beneficial :

• Experience in a laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of lubricant properties, formulating, testing methods, and industry standards.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment :

This position requires working in a laboratory and office environment. Safety gear such as lab coats, gloves, and safety glasses may be required when working in the lab.
