Behavioral Health Works (BHW) is looking for passionate individuals who believe in not just making a difference but being the difference! This position is referred to as a Behavior Technician & is Part-Time. Hours / Scheduling :
- Monday - Friday between the hours of 3pm - 8pm
- 10-15 hours per week
Compensation : $21 - $24 depending on experience

Since we serve children & youth, most of our sessions are between 3pm - 8pm. However, this varies from client to client.

How YOU will help make a difference for BHW clients & families :
- Provide direct 1 : 1 support to individuals diagnosed with autism (or a related disorder) in their homes, schools, and / or community.
- Teach children & youth how to communicate, socialize, and play through the use of research-based techniques. Not to worry - we will teach you all of our best techniques during training!
- Collaborate with BHW clinicians to implement detailed plans you will follow when working with your client.
- Encouraging your clients and helping them to reach their highest potential. Let’s not forget to celebrate their progress along the way!
Qualifications and Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed college courses (previously enrolled or currently enrolled)
- Reliable transportation & the ability to travel up to 30 miles from your place of residence to provide home and / or school sessions where public transportation may or may not be available.
- Active auto insurance or the ability to obtain auto insurance.
- Available for 12 - 25 hours per week.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- US Work authorization.
- Ability to navigate and utilize basic technology such as tablet usage, electronic documentation, email, calendar, etc.
- Preferred : At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, etc).
