Compensation : $67,724 - $75,000 base plus commission, first year target of 115-125k
Territory : Yakima

Founded in 1999, DTG Recycle is the largest recycler of commercial, industrial, construction, and demolition materials in the Pacific Northwest.
We are seeking an ambitious and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team and drive sales. You are a self-starter with a passion for sales and a proven track record of exceeding targets.
You are responsible for sales activities to increase revenue through service and by generating new customers, and additional business from existing customers.
This role offers the opportunity for autonomy, growth, and lucrative commissions in a dynamic industry.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers.
- Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads.
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales.
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic.
- Generate and submit sales orders.
- Generate and submit sales reports to management.
- Experience in selling portable toilets or similar products is a plus, but not required
Required Skills and Abilities :
- Travel locally 85% of the time.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and have a clear driving record.
- Must have own reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Familiar with business reports and retail math.
- Solid forecasting, organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to understand and create reports from sales data, showing financial and mathematical analysis that will enhance business decisions.
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with co-workers and customers.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards, especially in customer service.
- Ability to lift, carry and load 60-pound (minimum) weight requirements.
- Proficiency with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office.
