Under direct supervision, the Engineering Technician I performs a variety of complex sub-professional engineering work in support of the department activities;
performs other related work as assigned. Supervisor provides initial detailed instructions for each assignment, monitors progress and reviews upon completion.
Employee must be able to interpret engineering field data and incorporate such data into design plans. Work requires contact with the public.
