Overview
Paragon Community Services is seeking a Part-time JOB COACH . The job coach provides ongoing supervision and support to individuals as directed in developing and maintaining appropriate work skills on the job site.
The position works independently but maintains close contact with the assigned supervisor and team. The job atmosphere is based on the individual needs of the participant, and the job site in which they are working.
Location : Green Bay, WI
Schedule : Day / afternoon shifts - flexible work hours required
Pay : $15-$18 / hourly
Responsibilities include (but not limited to) :
- Provides ongoing support to people receiving services in career development
- Helps the participants being supported to gain and maintain independence at work.
- Identifies and maximizes each participants individual strengths in the workplace.
- Assists participants with time management, tasks and skill building.
- Helps participants to communicate and build relationships with employers
- Help natural supports gain the confidence necessary to work with the participant when the job coach is ready to fade
- Transports individuals to job site
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Valid Wisconsin Driver's License with at least 3 years of clean driving record
- Experience working / teaching with clients with variety of disabilities
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer service setting
