Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Financial Analyst I who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.

As a Financial Analyst I, you will :
- Provide division leadership with analysis and reports / presentations regarding the facility’s revenue, expenses, utilization, productivity, and other ad hoc reports as requested.
- Assist the finance and financial planning teams in preparing facility expense budget and monitor variances on a monthly basis.
- Provide all necessary information / supporting documentation to assist accounting and finance teams in completing the monthly financial close process.
- Maintain daily census files for all programs and complete daily charge reconciliation process to ensure that daily service charges match actual utilization.
- Ensure all authorizations for services are up to date and notify clinicians to update as necessary.
- Complete Capital Expense Request forms and obtain the appropriate authorizing signatures for all capital expense requests for the facility.
- Comply with all privacy standards of the facility and the healthcare system, including HIPAA, COMAR, and other state and federal regulations as they apply.
- Other tasks related to the financial operations of the facility as assigned.
Qualifications include :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in healthcare finance or related field.
