L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
You'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and improving the range of magnetic components and collaborate closely with the manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams.
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors-Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications-Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks-Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support,documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, andcustomer requirements-Perform detailed analyses to assess designs or applications, feasibility, cost, andmaintenance requirements-Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance withengineering design and performance specifications-Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials-Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and makerecommendations to the maintenance crew-Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field-Master's Degree is preferred -Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components -Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards -Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software -Excellent problem-soling skills and the ability to think critically -Strong communication and team collaboration skills-Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
