Job Description :

LEAD Staffing is currently seeking experienced Pipefitters for a project in the Gibsonton,& Tampa, FL area.

As a Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of piping systems, ensuring that they are installed and functioning correctly.

You will be working in the chiller area with Carbon Steel Pipes.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter (5 Years or more)
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components
• Experience working with Carbon Steel Pipes
• Pass Level 2 background check for the Tampa project
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for pipefitting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Must have a valid Drivers License and dependable transportation.
• All tools of the trade & PPE
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities :

• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine pipe layout and design.
• Measure, cut, and thread pipes to the required specifications.
• Assemble and install piping systems using various tools and techniques.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks and other issues.
• Repair and maintain existing piping systems as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and other construction professionals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
