A company is looking for an Appeals Clerk to provide administrative support for the Eligibility Appeals Operations Support Project.

Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accounting records, reconcile accounts, and issue informal resolutions based on appeal case reviewsContact appellants for information, clarify questions, and explain results of informal resolutionsSchedule hearings for appellants, track available timeslots, and issue notices confirming scheduled hearingsRequired Qualifications and EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent required;

Associate degree preferredAt least two years of related experience required; more than two years in healthcare or appeals preferredIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, or AccessAbility to type 35 words per minute accuratelyExperience with internet connectivity requirements for remote work
