Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree plus at least two years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree
- Proven experience in administration of large-scale Oracle databases
- Exceptional communication; ability to tailor messages to the audience (whether technical or non-technical, individual contributor to executive).
- Professional experience balancing stakeholder needs across multiple lines of business in a complex environment.
- Oracle Enterprise Manager configuration and management experience.
- Experience with database backup and recovery.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to investigate errors and performance bottlenecks, and implement resolutions with moderate direction.
- Experience with database patching and upgrades.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a diverse environment.
- 2+ years experience working as an Oracle Database Administrator in a 24x7 operational support role.
- Experience working with Oracle Exadata appliances.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Chef).
- Experience working with Agile teams.
- Oracle Database Administration certification.
