Trans One, a leading FedEx contractor, is seeking a motivated and reliable Delivery Driver Helper to join our team. If you have a strong work ethic, enjoy being active, are comfortable with technology, and don't mind working in all weather conditions, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities :
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading packages efficiently.
- Ensure packages are delivered accurately and on time, regardless of weather.
- Provide excellent customer service with every interaction.
- Utilize scanning technology to track deliveries.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications :
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 150 lbs with the assistance of a hand truck.
- Willingness to travel between two Chicago stations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfort with technology and scanning devices.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).
