We are seeking a motivational and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead our event sales team and drive revenue growth on a national scale.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
Primary Job Responsibilities :
This position reports to the Event Sales Director and works closely with other members of the Event Sales team, HR and key external partners.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 30-50 Roadshow direct to consumer sales professionals.
- Coach team members individually over the phone and in person to increase daily sales averages and keep reps motivated.
- Create a competitive and team focused culture by hosting (bi)weekly team calls, in person meetings, and running competitions.
- Manage all HR related matters including year-end reviews, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Develop, monitor, and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and expense controls.
- Manage the Team Supervisor Event Sales, responsible for the planning and execution of all events and the daily communication with the sales representatives.
- Ensure the sales metrics and KPI’s are used to make data-driven decisions about schedules and travel.
- Oversee the development of standardized training programs including videos and manuals.
- Work closely with the logistics department to ensure all show needs are met.
- Hire, on-board and retain new talent in close cooperation with the Recruiter and Supervisor.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Costco Regional and Warehouse Management.
- Create new programs and improve existing ones in close cooperation with the Event Sales Director.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on sales performance, cost analysis, program improvements and market trends.
- Stay informed about industry developments, competitor activities, to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Education & Experience Qualifications :
- Degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales management, with at least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales management tools.
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
- Experience in Special Events / Roadshow management required.

Salary Range : $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year contingent upon experience.
