Site Manager

As a Site manager you will be organising all site / location related activities in the context of large and complex automotive and other investment projects by providing leadership to all employees, subcontractors and suppliers on site, so that the allocated project / subproject is completed on time and correctly.

Duties Include :

• Follow a project to the site and manage the project at the customer facility.
• Investigate hotels and negotiate the best deal for the company for staff to stay local to the customer site.
• Ensure that the installation and commissioning of the equipment is completed accurately and on time.
• Manage the on site team, by reporting hours, managing absences, resolving conflicts, and growing and shrinking the team as necessary.
• Regularly meet with the customer to make sure they are satisfied with the quality and timing
• Hold daily safety meetings with the team.
• Act as the project manager while our team is on site at the customer facility.

Education / requirements Level of performance and intellectual ability :

University of Applied Sciences Education : MTS / HTS (secondary technical school / higher technical school) Mechanical Engineering or comparable

VCA (full) certificate

Experience :

Multiple years of experience in the appropriate professional field, and of working on location.

Characteristics :
