Position Description
This full-time driving position offers a wide variety of work with flexible options across all locations. No experience necessary, as paid training is provided.
A School Bus driver is in charge of providing safe transport for school aged children. Duties include, but are not limited to transporting children to and from school, obeying traffic laws, ensuring the safety of all students.
This unique position offers flexibility in the location, vehicle, and hours one can work during the week. This position is or will become certified to drive many different vehicles, and will be servicing schools throughout our 20 locations as operational needs come up.
School bus needs are usually Monday through Friday but can in some cases include Saturday or Sunday hours.
This is an exciting opportunity to help inspire the next generation and be one of the first smiles a child sees in the morning!
Qualifications
- Drivers must possess and maintain a valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and have a good driving record.
- Drivers must be at least 21 years of age with a minimum of three years continued, valid licensed driving status.
- Drivers must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with school bus (S*) and passenger endorsements (P*) with the Airbrake restriction lifted.
- Drivers must successfully pass a company sponsored Department of Transportation (DOT) physical, pre-employment drug test and background check.
They must also meet Department of Transportation requirements.
