Job Responsibilities :
- Review all fixed income portfolios on an ongoing basis
- Communicate with portfolio managers and institutional clients to confirm portfolio objectives
- Continuously monitor the firm's fixed income holdings
- Execute trades in coordination with Director of Fixed Income
- Work with brokers on trade settlement
- Set up and master IMTC, the portfolio allocation software recently purchased by the firm
- Learn the firm's investment philosophy and monitor relevant fixed income markets, eventually conducting research and presenting new investment ideas
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required
- Interest in obtaining CFA® designation is required; some progress towards this objective is preferred
- Proven financial services experience, with preference given to sell-side bond experience
- Understanding of interest rate market and the bid process employed by bond brokers
- Strong attention to detail
