School of Public Health - General - (Full-time, Day Shift) -

Supports graduate education in public health, research and / or public health practice. Develops, delivers and assesses graduate-level curriculum (master’s and doctoral) in the areas of quantitative research skills (specifically expertise in SAS, R, SQL, Python).
Participates in doctoral student dissertation (PhD)and project guidance (DrPH) committees. Advises students for academics including applied practical experience (APE) projects, research applications and career planning.
Participates in student recruitment activities, APE site identification, student placement and student research and integrated learning experiences (ILE).
Participates in research consultations with clients.
Minimum of Doctorate's degree from an accredited institution. Doctorate’s degree from an accredited institution or relevant public health experience.
Professional certification, licensure or registration as appropriate. Biostat experience required.
Knowledge of current technology and educational media used in teaching and presentations. Able to effectively communicate changes and instructions in a professional, effective and positive manner.
Able speak in English with professional quality. Think critically; manage multiple assignments effectively; organize and prioritize workload;
able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure.
Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace;
see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.
