Contract Litigation Attorney
Location : New Mexico (with appearances in Albuquerque, NM)
Pay Rate : $50 per hour
Job Type : Contract, Full Time, Hybrid
We are seeking a Contract Litigation Attorney licensed to practice in New Mexico with the ability to make court appearances in Albuquerque.
This position is ideal for attorneys with experience in insurance defense litigation, looking for flexible, contract-based work.
You will be responsible for handling various litigation tasks, including court appearances, drafting legal documents, and client communication.
Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in insurance defense matters in court, primarily in Albuquerque.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide case analysis.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and other litigation proceedings.
- Manage client communications and provide legal advice.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff on case management.
Qualifications :
- Active license to practice law in New Mexico (must be in good standing).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in litigation, preferably in insurance defense.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make court appearances in Albuquerque as required.
- Familiarity with case management software and legal research tools.
