Summary :
Provides oversight for financial reporting propriety forregional finance. Acts as liaison between regions and CHRISTUScorporate finance and accounting.
Provides accounting supportthrough proper application of financial accounting standards.Assures sound foundational principles are being applied forregional financial accounts, including timeliness in reporting,completeness in capturing financial activity, prudence inprocedural matters such as account reconciliations, accruals, andthe like.
Resolves financial reporting and statistical reportingissues
Responsibilities :
- Preparation of monthly financial package forhospital leadership
- Responsible for preparationof annual facility budget
- Preparation ofmid-month volume and financial forecast forfacility
- Work with accounting team to ensureproper fiscal management, timely and accurate reporting andanalysis for theorganization
- Participates / Leads in facilitiesRevenue cycle processes to include but not limited to chargecapture, denials and Bill hold
- Provide serviceand operations analysis as needed
- Must be ableto understand and be able to communicate industry rules andregulations
- Must have demonstrated managementability
- Must be able to prioritize tasks andwork under pressure
- Timely / Accurate reportingof financials to hospital LeadershipTeam
- Responsible for accurate and timelydissemination of internal financialreports
- Participate in a variety of specialprojects as needed
