Validation Engineer
On-site - New Jersey (Commutable from New York)
$100,000 - $115,000 base salary + $5-8k bonus + benefits
Our client is an established global CDMO / OEM who are expanding their US Validation Department.
As the validation engineer you'll be responsible for writing validation protocols (IQ / OQ) as well as validating large complex automated manufacturing equipment in the Pharma & Life Sciences industries.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Validation Engineer will be varied however the key duties & responsibilities are as follows :
- Validating large complex automated manufacturing equipment : solid dosage, capsules, tablet pressers, fluid beds, granulates, spin blenders
- Extensive IQ / OQ experience & writing validation documents for large complex systems - IQ's up to 200 pages, OQ's up to 700 pages
- Hardware knowledge across : Instrumentation, Control Panels, PLC & HMIs, Control Systems, Alarm testing & Circuit breakers
- Presenting the validation results to end customer project teams (QA, validation, project management, etc.)
- 25-30% travel to customers sites - usually based around CT & MI
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application as the Validation Engineer we are looking for the following :
- Experienced in Pharma / Biotech / Life Science / GMP environment
- Degree - Relevant Engineering Field
- Must have worked with large complex automated manufacturing equipment
- Must have experience in document writing IQ / OQ's
- Must be comfortable travelling to customers sites and spending a week on site.
