The opportunity
Southern New Hampshire University invites applicants for a position at the Assistant Professor level in its student-focused Mathematics Department in the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education (SASE).
You will report to the Dean of SASE and join a cohesive department, and will have opportunities to teach different classes at both the general education level and the core mathematics curriculum for the math, science, and engineering programs at the University.
In addition to an ability to teach the aforementioned coursework, you will need to have an interest in teaching applied mathematics and modeling, pure mathematics, or mathematics for education.
You will also need to demonstrate an excitement for mathematics and a passion for teaching undergraduate students, and for pursuing scholarly endeavors. #LI-Onsite

Southern New Hampshire University is located in Manchester, New Hampshire within an hour's drive to the New England seacoast, the New Hampshire Lakes Region, the White Mountains, and the city of Boston, Massachusetts.
What you'll do :
- Prepare, and teach school approved courses following SNHU course descriptions and class schedules
- Maintain 5 office hours or more each week
- Participate in the departmental efforts for curriculum development, program reviews and accreditation under the supervision of the department chair
- Collaborate with the faculty / staff in departmental and school level projects
- Participate in student career development and related advising or mentoring activities, and special retention programs
What we're looking for :
- Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education. PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education is preferred.
- Demonstrated face-to-face teaching experience

We expect this particular position to be hired in the following target range of $60,000-$75,000.

Compensation
The annual pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $85,000.00. Actual offer will be based on experience, skills, degree, discipline and other business and organizational needs.
