Responsibilities
The Tax Automation Services (TAS) Supervisor will :
- Lead the implementation of tax technology solutions for corporate tax departments
- Lead the integration of tax products with ERP, consolidation systems, and other enterprise and emerging software
- Support the development and testing of internally developed solutions
- Manage and perform day-to day operational aspects of projects and client interactions
- Review work completed by the TAS team, confirming satisfaction of business and system requirements, review documentation
- Work with the team and clients to ensure proper training and knowledge transfer is delivered
- Provide mentorship and training to staff as needed
- Assist TAS management with the preparation of client and internal trainings, presenting in webinars or industry conferences / events, and preparing sales and marketing collateral
- Begin to maintain and support existing partnerships, client relationships, and provide technical leadership and guidance to the team and clients on project status
- Develop relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- 5 years of experience providing tax automation services, information technology services, or public accounting
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Applied technology experience in 3 or more of the following areas : data management (Alteryx, Power Query), data visualization (Power BI, Tableau), document management and workflow (SharePoint, Power Automate), enterprise software (ERP and consolidation systems), Tax provision / compliance software (ONESOURCE, Corptax), cloud platforms (AWS, Snowflake), RPA (UI Path, Blue Prism), APIs, VBA / Excel Macros, SQL
- Direct experience managing projects from end-to-end
- Strong project management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills :
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology
- Experience with Corporate Tax software(ONESOURCE, Corptax, Longview, Vertex)
- Prior Big 4 or other Consulting experience
