Billing Portfolio Specialist
Aon is looking for a Billing Portfolio Specialist to support our growing Aon Rewards Solutions subdivision ("Aon Rewards").
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting Aon's Rewards Solution consulting team.
As a full time, Portfolio Advisor Administrator, you will work with a team of colleagues in multiple locations to provide billing support while meeting tight deadlines.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial and advisory support to a team of Associates Partners / Directors.
Support ranges from data entry to analytical and logistical matters revolving around the Account Managers portfolio. The Portfolio Specialist will respond promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities and new situations.
Additionally, this person will possess the skills and ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with internal resources, clients (where applicable), and other parties in a global and virtual working environment.
The Portfolio Specialist is integral to the efficient workflow within the office environment!
What the day will look like
The primary responsibilities for this position are listed below.
- Serve as the liaison between consultants and CIS to ensure invoice accuracy
- Use Software run reports for billing or on request from team members
- Review, edit and finalize monthly invoices for project managers
- Ensure all projects are invoiced fully in a timely manner
- Work with contract team to establish correct set up of project codes and track processing
- Monitor contract end dates and reach out to project managers regarding necessary updates
- Handle client specific issues (such as purchase orders, vendor forms and payment information)
- Monitor revenue delayed by unsigned contracts
- Monitor and follow up on client account receivables as directed by leadership
- Manage the status of account and balances and identify any inconsistencies
- Meet with project managers to determine invoicing / project requirements
- Maintain a flexible approach and attitude towards assisting others
- Self-directed prioritization of work and projects

Skills that will lead to success
- Associates or bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 years in an administrative or operations role preferably within the financial industry
- Strong Microsoft Office skills are a must.
- Attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines; prioritize multiple projects; and actively work through problems
- Good work ethic and ability to work as part of a team and flexible to changing business needs
- Possesses the drive to continually learn and improve
- Positive attitude while working with a group of divergent personalities in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment

Pay Transparency Laws :
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $48,000 - $55,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary.
The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
