As the Bio- Rad Sustainability and ESG Program Senior Analyst, you will report to the Global Sustainability Program Senior Director.
You will be responsible for understanding ESG regulatory requirements, ensuring Bio-Rad has the appropriate data required for disclosures, and generating actionable ESG insights (through strong data analysis) to improve Bio-Rad's ESG performance, investor standings and customer ESG scores.
You will support the preparation of external annual ESG reports and responses to ESG information requests from external stakeholders such as rating agencies, investors and rankings, etc.
You will bring your complex project management experience where analysis of situations or data involves an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
How You'll Make an Impact :
- Continuously improve the ESG reporting internal control environment to ensure consistent, accurate and timely ESG information as well as auditable and efficient reporting processes.
- Lead the response to inquiries from relevant ESG rating agencies, customers and other organizations, such as CDP, Ecovadis, S&P, etc.
- Collaborate closely with the business and key internal leaders, data owners, technical functions, internal audit and external assurance providers to continuously improve the ESG reported processes and related internal control environment to ensure ESG data reliability and accuracy.
- Own Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Data reporting for Bio-Rad and use expertise to maximize accuracy of Scopes 1, 2 and 3 emissions calculations.
- Lead the preparation of the Annual Sustainability Report and other disclosures. Take lead on auditing records of departments and interview workers to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support or lead the cross-functional implementation of projects aimed at improving ESG performance at the company.
What You Bring :
Education : BA / BS degree in environmental engineering or sciences, Business, Finance, Accounting, or other technical / science-based education.
Master's degree preferred.
- Work Experience : 8+ years of experience managing projects related to ESG compliance or reporting.
- Subject matter expertise in ESG regulations, reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB), and carbon accounting. Experience in Life Cycle Assessment preferred.
- Strong quantitative skills and the ability to comprehend, synthesize, and analyze sustainability data. Basic statistical knowledge preferred to enable critical validation and analysis of data.
- Analytical, project management, planning, organization, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Track record of successful prioritization and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work both as a team leader and member, and complete projects with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley and use of COSO and CSA techniques.
- Intermediate knowledge of US GAAP.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance issues.

Compensation : The estimated base salary range for this position is $114,700 to $157,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
