The Rochester Regional Sands-Constellation Heart Institute (SCHI) is recognized across Rochester and Western New York as a center of excellence in diagnosing, preventing, treating, and managing heart disease and conditions.
Every physician and member of our staff is dedicated to helping you maintain the highest level of heart health. We take pride in providing exceptional, caring, and personalized cardiac care to each one of our patients, each and every day.
Our cardiology teams provides for ongoing management for chronic heart conditions.
SCHI offers patients the advanced, personalized care they need. We have a strong focus on prevention and patient education.
SCHI offers a full-service cardiac rehabilitation program where patients can receive counseling on diet and nutrition, lifestyle, exercise, stress management and exercise in a safe and monitored environment following a cardiac event.

ATTRIBUTES
- Medical Assistant Certification or medical assistant experience preferred
- Strong customer service, computer, and communication skills
- Bilingual preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Patient Care & Physician Assistance. Room patients in a timely fashion, complete patient work-up, obtain vital signs, assist physicians with procedures;
manage physician orders and complete appropriate forms / requests; report issues to a licensed staff member when necessary
- Maintenance. Ensure treatment rooms are stocked as needed; update and maintain patients’ e-record
- Compliance. Adhere to required department and system protocols, HIPAA regulations and local, state and federal requirements
- EDUCATION : LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS : PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects;
Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting. For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.
