Responsibilities of the AP Manager :
- The AP Manager will lead, motivate, and provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to a small team.
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including supervising staff, managing workflows, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payments
- Ensure that financial deadlines are met and that customer service is provided to all internal stakeholders
- The AP Manager will monitor accounts and ensure that any discrepancies are identified and resolved
- Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Manage the budget and ensure optimal cost savings
- Prepare monthly and annual reports for management
Qualifications for the AP Manager :
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an AP Manager, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
