EDI Analyst III Our EDI Analyst III serves as the primary interface between multiple business partners, external parties, and technology teams to deliver complex, high profile technical solutions that align with business initiatives.

This position serves a key role across many disciplines within the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, analysis, design, and testing.

Responsibilities Partner with the business to plan and scope business initiatives. Obtain requirements using interviews, code and document analysis, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding.

Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following as needed;

functional requirements through the Business Requirements Document (BRD), use cases, Graphical User Interface GUI, screen and interface designs.

Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

Perform system set-up, configuration, administrative duties and testing. Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation.

Develop and maintain EDI maps using EDI translation software such as Cleo, 1 EDI Source, etc. Configure and establish EDI trading partners and communication channels using protocols such as AS2, SFTP, or HTTPS.

Implement and monitor EDI systems and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues and errors. Analyze the business needs and requirements for EDI solutions.

Document and update EDI processes and procedures. Maintain current knowledge with respect to relevant EDI trends and capabilities.

Perform other duties as assigned. Working Conditions : Primarily working indoors, office / remote environment. May sit for several hours at a time.

  • Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or job-related experience Work Experience : 5 years of related experience within a similar capacity Experience with different communication protocols such as FTP, sFTP, AS2 Experience developing in an EDI platform Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite Computer Skills : Experienced when in working with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel);
  • Process mapping skills Organization Skills : Demonstrated organizational, process and analytical skills; ability to produce accurate and quality work with a fast turn around and a sense of urgency Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal skills;
  • ability to influence and possesses organizational savvy; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information; Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, technical and subject matter experts Problem Solving Skills : Rresourcefulness;
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions; Strong attention to detail Travel : Ability to travel up to 10% of the time Preferred Education and Experience : Computer Skills : Experience when working within an ERP driven environment and the CLEO Toolset;

Ability to perform system set-up, configuration, administrative duties and testing independently Work Authorization / Security Clearance : Must be able to pass EVerify.
