ATL Shipping Lead

Role Overview

MacPherson’s Shipping Leads play a critical role in the success of MacPherson’s as front line leaders by providing hands on leadership, training and monitoring their team.

The Shipping Lead actively participate in the handling of all customer product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

You'll work closely with your team to ensure all the work behind the scenes is done safely, successfully, efficiently therefore directly impacting the company as an employee owner.

A MacPherson's Shipping Lead is a full-time position based in our Suwanee, GA Distribution Center working Monday through Friday, from 7 : 00AM to 3 : 30PM, with some Saturday's required.

The range of pay is $18.45 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus 14 days paid vacation in the first year. A $500 sign-on bonus is available and will be paid out in two payments.

The first $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the employee's first 30 days of employment. The second $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the 90th day of employment.

The Good Fit

• A MacPherson’s Shipping Lead needs :
• A High School diploma or equivalent
• At least three years of experience in a distribution / warehouse environment
• Experience in working with WMS / RF systems
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Able to work in an environment exposed to heat, cold, noise and dust
• Experience working around Material Handling Equipment
• Punctual, team oriented, committed to safety, enthusiastic and willing to learn
• Ability to consistently perform repetitive physical tasks involving frequent walking, reaching, bending, lifting, twisting, pushing / pulling and standing
• Excellent Mathematical, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others
• Ability to communicate expectations, goals and results to individuals and small groups
