Job title - Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Metric Search are assisting a leading speciality geotechnical contracting firm in California.

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer responsibilities include performing and / or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, design, and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided.
This is a hybrid position based in the North California, with travel in California state and the ability to work from home when needed.
What they are looking for :
- MS in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Professional Engineer registration in the future (PE) needed
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Geotechnical Consultant / Specialty Contractor (or combination)
- Extensive experience in ground improvement and flexibility to travel at any time and to any location
