Pay Rate : $22.23 per hour

Location : Worcester, MA

Schedule : 4 : 30 AM to 1 : 00 PM, Mon to Fri

Employment Type : 3-month Contract

What's a typical day as a Packer I (Manufacturing Operator)? You will :

• Select and assemble prefabricated shipping boxes or build custom crates / boxes as needed.
• Compute size, weight, and materials required to securely pack ceramic shapes.
• Ensure correct use of packaging / shipping materials and follow special handling procedures for safe domestic and international shipping.
• Apply routine packing procedures, techniques, and use of packing equipment.
• Assemble, line, pad, wrap, and transport cardboard boxes and cartons.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to verify packing specifications are met.
• Remove defective products or materials from the packaging process.
• May transfer products / materials from transportation vehicles using a forklift or similar equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
