The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Project Engineer for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Chattanooga, TN.

Seeking a skilled Project Engineer with a strong background in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in engineering disciplines, with hands-on experience in managing engineering and construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and driving project success from start to finish.
Job Description :
- Pay : $40hr (W2).
- 6 month contract possibility to extend or convert based off performance and budget.
- Project Management : Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all activities meet Sanofi’s high standards of quality and regulatory compliance.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and coordinate internal teams, oversee external contractors, and manage project execution with clear goals and expectations.
- Engineering Oversight : Ensure all engineering, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Documentation : Prepare and review turnover documentation, including as-built drawings, technical reports, and project records.
- Project Controls : Implement project control processes, including cost estimation, scheduling, and progress tracking using earned value / progress tracking systems when applicable.
- Communication : Maintain strong verbal and written communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Technical Proficiency : Utilize Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to manage project data and reporting.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s Degree / Undergraduate Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related degree with relevant industry experience.
- Experience : 1-3 years of heavy project management experience, in a manufacturing environment.
Skills :
- Experience with relevant quality standards, including commissioning, qualification, and validation.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams, overseeing engineering and construction activities.
- Strong project control skills (estimating, scheduling, cost reporting, earned value / progress tracking).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
